Sebastian Eardley, Vice President, Crossroads Eldercare Options
Sebastian Eardley is a Grand Rapids native who has called West Michigan home since 2006. He graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in economics and was actively involved in the MSU Student Economics Association. After college, Sebastian began his career in B2B technology sales in Grand Rapids, where he gained valuable experience in client service and solution-based consulting.
Most recently, Sebastian became a licensed life insurance producer in the State of Michigan, with a special focus on long-term care insurance. Motivated by firsthand experience, he is passionate about helping individuals and families understand their options and proactively plan for future care needs.
Outside of work, Sebastian enjoys travel, spending time outdoors, and making frequent trips to Northern Michigan.

Edwin Thauer, Jr., CLU, ChFC, LIC – Wealth Manager, Airey Financial Group
Edwin Thauer is a Wealth Manager at Airey Financial Group in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he specializes in investments, retirement strategies, estate preservation, business insurance, and employee benefits. He has been serving clients since 1976 and brings nearly five decades of experience to his role.
A Grand Rapids native, Ed is an alumnus of Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University. He holds both the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from The American College and is a Licensed Life Insurance Counselor in Michigan. He is also a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with OneAmerica Securities, Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC.
Ed is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a six-time Top of the Table qualifier, placing him among the top 1% of professionals in the field. He remains active with the MDRT Foundation and participates in charitable fundraising efforts. He has held leadership positions with the Society of Financial Service Professionals, Western Michigan Estate Planning Council, and Life Insurance Leaders of Michigan, and is involved with the Grand Rapids Economics Club and Lions Club.
In 2016, Ed received the Distinguished Service Award from NAIFA West Michigan and the Society of Financial Service Professionals. He also holds a license with Wealth Building Cornerstones, a retirement planning model grounded in actuarial science.
Outside of work, Ed has been married to his wife, Karen, for 51 years. They have three married daughters and ten grandchildren. He is an active member of Ada Bible Church and a committed supporter of his community.
